The Catholic University of Korea is a private Roman Catholic institution of higher education in South Korea. It was established in 1855 and today operates campuses in Seoul and in neighboring Bucheon City. The Catholic University of Korea currently has the largest medical network in Korea comprised of College of Medicine, College of Nursing and eight affiliated hospitals in major areas of the country including Seoul St. Mary's Hospital in the heart of the capital city.
Since its establishment in 1954, College of Medicine of the Catholic University of Korea has grown into one of the best medical schools in the country through world-class medical education, biomedical research, patient care and volunteer service. This school is especially devoted to nurturing competent medical professionals with a strong desire to serve others, in addition to exploring the knowledge and applied skills necessary for national development and advancement of human society. The Catholic University of Korea College of Nursing, a leader in nursing education and nursing science, has the best and the largest professional network in Korea and has produced numerous clinical experts, nursing educators, and researchers over its 60-year history.
