Abstract

Clear cell sarcoma is a rare malignant soft tissue tumor that grows slowly; however, recurrence and metastasis are common. Metastases to the lymph nodes, lungs, and bones are the most frequent; however, multiple metastases to the lungs and bones have not been reported in Korea. A 41-year-old man was referred for an erythematous hard mass measuring 5 cm on his left sole that appeared 5 years ago and gradually grew while he was hospitalized at the Department of Pulmonology for multiple lung nodules. Histopathological examination of the lesions on the sole and pleura revealed clear cell sarcoma. In addition to the lungs and pleurae, bony metastases to the sternum, cervical-thoracic-lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, scapulae, clavicles, pelvic bones, femurs, and humeri, with extensive lymph node metastases were also present. Herein, we report a rare case of a clear cell sarcoma with multiple metastases. (Korean J Dermatol 2022;60(9):593~596).
