Abstract

For successful inclusive education associated with changes at schools, transformational leaderships of principals and resilience levels of teachers may play an important role. When examining this question, the present study found that transformational leaderships of principals were positively correlated to three different types of role behaviors that are important for inclusive education - a support for students with disabilities, a support for teachers, and a resource for information. It was also found that, when the resilience levels of teachers were higher, transformational leadership was more strongly related with the roles of a support for students with disabilities and a resource for information. However, the moderation effect of teachers' resilience was not found and the relationship between transformational leadership and the role of a support for teachers.
