Abstract
Facet joint pain is one of the causes of chronic back pain. The medial branch of the dorsal rami of the spinal nerves innervates the facet joint. Endoscopic radiofrequency ablation of medial branch nerves offers a minimally invasive, effective treatment option for patients with facet joint pain. Patient selection and proper technique are essential for the success of the procedure. This chapter outlines patient selection, technique, and complications of endoscopic radiofrequency ablation of the medial branch in managing chronic back pain.
