Abstract
Screening value is the decision-making indicator such as symptoms and laboratory tests results from calculation of the sensitivity, specificity and predictive value. When a child was included in the developmental delay screening tests through a latent class analysis, the positive predictive values were 86%-54% in single tests use; the combination of two of the predictive values was 95%-78%. In conclusion, this study suggests that developmental screening tests of children takes effect in two types of the tests rather than one; furthermore, it is used in detecting the developmental delay high predictive value.
