Abstract

Lumbar endoscopic unilateral laminotomy for bilateral decompression (LE-ULBD) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure to correct lumbar spinal canal stenosis without compromising spine stability. Navigation is a technology used in spinal surgery that reduces the learning curve, minimizes radiation exposure, and is ideal in patients with anatomical distortion. This chapter demonstrates the importance of navigation technology coupled with LE-ULBD to enhance safe spinal surgery and better patient outcome.
