Protein losing enteropathy associated with Henoch-Schonlein purpura in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract

Protein losing enteropathy is rarely associated with Henoch-Schonlein purpura. Moreover, the disease association of Henoch-Schonlein purpura and rheumatoid arthritis is also rare. We report a case of a 46 year old patient with rheumatoid arthritis presenting with Henoch-Schonlein purpura associated with protein losing enteropathy.
