Abstract

"Ubiquitous health care system" is already transforming into concrete commercialization stage. Especially, Korea, which has the most powerful IT foundation in the world, has competitiveness and can rapidly grow in this area. SMARTCARE project is a clinical trial for diabetic patients and it analyzes the effect of 'SMARTCARE-diabetes management system'. We expect this system to be superior to conventional diabetes care systems based on office visits for controlling blood glucose and achieving glucose stability.
