Abstract
Space-time trellis-codes for high rate wireless code division multiple access (CDMA) systems were discussed. Diversity gain and coding gain were the two factors that decided the performance of space-time codes. The inherent code structure supported the adaptable code design using multiple signal options for a single data rate.
